Crazy? Sure. The camera had an LCD defect, and I've always wanted to see what would happen if you started taking photos NON STOP and kept going. How long would it last? We've all seen the 7D on fire, in freezers, dropped, etc...but I hadn't seen anyone just keep taking photo after photo after photo. You get the idea. I did this test at the 10FPS shutter setting.
Anyway, I did a few things in this test:
1. Saw how many "photos" it could take in a row on battery power only (not saving photos though, just shutter actuations)
2. How much heat the camera generated, compared to another camera in ambient temp
3. How long the shutter lasted...and what happened when it finally went out.
Again, I know this is crazy...
