I was reading somewhere online a few days ago about the best type of filters. I though it said something about getting one made of a certain type of glass. I think it had white in the name but am not sure. Does anyone know?

MalVeauX "Looks rough and well used" More info | Jul 07, 2017 05:18 | #6 shane_c wrote in post #18395701 Looking to get a circular polarizer and 10 stop ND. Both in the 77mm circular size and I'll be getting a 77-67mm step down ring. They'll be used for landscape photography. I thought about going the square design and getting a grad ND but I'll just apply that in LR if I need it to try and keep the cost down as much as possible. If you want very good quality and a lower price, look to a 10 stop Haida ND filter. Very little color cast, good quality glass. Can't distinguish it from more expensive filters, they're that good. And for the CPL, look to a Marumi Super, they're excellent.
