It's the forum software. My sample was the same.

A fix for this is long overdue :(

The more samples I see from this lens, the more I am convinced that it has problems with proper color rendering.

Well now you got me thinking...maybe I do want this instead of the Canon for the OS? I'll obviously wait on more feedback, but I appreciate you guys posting the photos so far.

Thanks! I think most or all Canon users would think I'm crazy for kicking around the idea of swapping my Canon for this lens, but if the IQ is close enough, the OS could make up my mind.

One would think the forum software would get the lens info from EXIF?

New lens, I don't think they have the software yet.

Well my 24-70 Art is being sent back. I couldn't deal with the piece of shiny something inside one of the inner elements and the OS just doesn't seem right.

The colors looked fine to me and I'm picky on colors. I'll try out a second 24-70 and see if that'll get it right.

I agree with Roger to a degree.

Also the G2 is exact same optics. So doubt we can improve much on the art or mk2.

Plain and simple no wonder I didn't like corners on this. I'm use to primes lol

the tamwrong gained 75g in weight, so that should help with the VC and AF they're touting. If it's as good as they think it is, might be fantastic for video. Sad that they didnt change the optics as that lens certainly could have used it compared to the 70-200, which was much stronger IMO.

True but I had two copies of the VC for quite some time and was satisfied with the quality. My issue is I went all prime with good primes and I need to pull my standards back to be able to adjust to using a "zoom".

I honestly feel the G2 will have the best VC/IS/OS available out of all the lenses. My tamron performed great. I think all my concerns with the tamron has subsided and now and since I'm wanting video probably need to see what it does now. The art is pretty good but I had a piece of something on my elements and the OS was I think defective.

Look at this piece though. It was very shiny like metal.
