I'm looking for what's working on mobile workflows. I'm currently using iPad Pro 10.5, a Canon 80D and a Fuji X100F. I"m currently importing into Lightroom mobile and then moving up from there when I get home. Mac pretty much never leaves my desk. I'm currently using Luminar Neptune on the MAC as well as a demo of Affinity pro. Nothing wrong with Lightroom, just never really clicked with it. I've also got Affinity on my iPad. Although I have it I don't use Photoshop much. My workflow is mostly cropping, exposure correction and the like before printing.

I print A LOT. As an old darkroom person I live having a print in my hands.

Anyone have any suggestions, things that have worked for them or are working for them or things that just didn't work at all?

I am also looking at a mobile workflow but, unlike you, I am going the LR mobile/Lightroom route. I shoot sports with my Canon and want to be able to grab a shot at half time and be able to post it. Just upgraded from LR5.x to CC so still sorting out LR mobile.

I also have a Fujifilm X-T2. Have been using the camera's wifi/fujifilm app to transfer shots to my phone and process with snapseed. Will probably switch to LR mobile for that now.

Gear Canon 5DIII + Fuji X-T2 + lenses + a plastic widget I found in the camera box.

I'm not committed to any one way. LR Mobile may be the way I end up. Who know's. LR CC is big and slow and bulky on my older hardware. If there is something out there that can fill my needs in a better way, then that's the way I'm going. Luminar is making the corrections I need but doesn't have the photo management tools I need.

It's kind of a waste for a big program like that when all i'm doing is some exposure correction, sharpening and printing for the most part.

It's an evolving world.

I think the options will be much clearer after the dust settles of the intro of IOS 11 with Files app, plus Affinity Photo with DAM, Luminar with DAN, and maybe even Lr 2017 with Lr Mobile update.

I am planning to leave Adobe CC if Luminar DAM is decent.

Yeah. IOS 11 is going to be a big deciding factor. I'm enjoying the 10.5 iPad pro. Affinity almost has to much stuff crammed onto the screen.
