Jul 08, 2017 18:05 | #4 Another thing about this photo is that it appears that you might have some direct sunlight hitting your lens which may be decreasing contrast. Careful shading before shooting would probably help too. I did a quick edit to boost contrast and brighten some areas and darken other areas. I'll delete it if you don't want editing.
