Hello.
My 85 1.2 is repeatably missing focus.
The part of the image/s that is in focus is always behind where I want focus.
Do I put a plus value or minus value into MFA to correct this?

Lbsimon ...never exercised in my life More info | Jul 10, 2017 11:23 | #4 Use FoCal commercial software, or do DotTune method. For the latter just go to Youtube, do a search for DotTune, and there is a great video instructions on how to do AF MA.

This is how I remember it. No need for the 3rd party tools/software. You can use your yard or your sidewalk as a great focusing tool. Put a small contrasty object that your center AF point won't have an issue locking onto, and do some tests that way. You will be able to see where focus lies in relation to the object, and you can tweak from there. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery
