That's gorgeous Mike.

I've always wanted to make that trip. I've been trying to decide where I'd like to go on a long late-September camping trip and that area might make a great location. Going to give it some thought.

It's tough because the area has some small trails and it is quite gorgeous but more than a day or two I don't think it needs. The river which is just down the road has the campground and access to the river for boating though. Also down the street is a place to rent canoes, rafts, and kayaks. I'm not sure how late in the season they are open. The store was called Harvey's. The area can flood easy is my understanding. Good luck on your decision. I would like to go back in the fall and see the trees turn colors.
