Just thinking of my recent AD200 purchases. It uses a 14.4v 2900mah battery. The V860 uses a different 11.1v 2000mah battery.

Wouldn't it be nice if Godox came out with a new V860 that uses the AD200 battery? I mean couldn't they theoretically make that work?

Would be nice to have 50% more battery life and all the same battery.

It'd be massive, no one wants a speedlight that's twice the size and weight.

The AD200 battery is really not that big physically.

Thats my thing... you could have the bottom part of the V860 just a little bit thicker to fit the AD200 battery. Size wise it's just square but it's 50% more though.

Mike

uh... I'm talking about making it like 2oz heavier and a little thicker. Not hanging some battery pack off my neck.

Your preferred option, I offered a different one.
