I am looking to get some software for slideshows so I can have complete control over stills. I will probably be cutting in small bits of b-roll video as well. Think a typical slideshow for weddings but also 20-30% brief video/audio clips to break up the monotony of just looking at photos.

Would one of the programs lend itself to that more than the other? Basically I guess I am asking which program handles stills better?

Either are pretty straight forward for slideshows....maybe just select the one that has the best workflow for you. There's also popular web based slideshow editors (I know a photographer that likes using Animoto).
