So I'm fishing over a mile offshore when I come upon this fellow standing on a paddle board and moving along on a bumpy ocean. He said he needed no assistance and that he started out from a town about 25 miles north. He wanted to know what the next town south was. I told him "Oceanside" just below the next cape and inside of those large rocks. He thanked me and paddled on.

It's a nice scene, but the photo looks overcooked and super grainy. Glad your horizon is straight, though! :)

It sure does. I did crank up the contrast a bit to see the figure better. I'm sorry I didn't have my SLR or even point & shoot with me. I quickly snapped the image with my flip phone camera. I just pointed in his direction and took it since I could not see the screen. Glad to have it turn out as it did.

It's almost time for a new flip (hope they still have them). The front screen finally went south but all other functions work and I only charge it once or twice a week. Saved my bacon this time but I usually pack my P&S when on the water.
