From the photos it appears that the Manfrotto QR is a cast portion of the head which does the up-down pivot axis and is not removeable, as no screw holds the Manfrotto pedestal on top of a post with a removeable screw.

The only way I am aware of to use the Arca-style QR system would be to mount the Arca-style QR base using the Manfrotto QR plate with a 3/8 screw, so that Arca-style camera plates could be used

Good to know, I don't have one but I've thought about getting one.

My tripod head has an Arca Swiss style clamp but I sometimes use a Manfrotto system that doesn't so like I said, having an adapter on hand has crossed my mind.
