Will this set up get me any kind of decent shots of night sky/stars/Milky Way? Just built the barn door yesterday and haven't used it yet. I also have EF 75-300mm f4-5.6 III USM and the good old EF-S 18-55mm IS.

CapnJack Cream of the Crop  More info | Aug 07, 2017 20:55 | #2 Mount it on something solid. I built one and the mount to a tripod is the weak point for me. It will work better on the wide angle, I feel.
