Very nice Kevin. Are these summer birds over there? Their common cousins are late winter birds only here, and I haven't seen any in a couple of years.

Yes, they're here all year Ian. We do get influxes of other redpolls in the winter as well.

Very nice Kevin,

Like the "crest" up as it's unusual, but prefer the angle of the head on the second - it appears to be a little more engaged.

Not a big fan of that perch though.
