Now that I'm getting back to work, I'm putting together a list of equipment to buy. I'm trying to set priorities. 80% of what I do is studio macro, and that's what this list reflects.
Here are things at which I'm looking:
upgrade to 16gb for my PC.
Zerene
a purpose built DIY macro table
Stackshot or Wemacro rail
an 8" x 24" aluminum breadboard
a better [than my mediocre ProMaster] head for my bench mount (ballhead or pan and tilt?)
strobes or manual flashes
10x microscope objective and necessary adapters
The microscope gear is obviously down the list without Zerene and an automated rail.
Other than that, things are up for grabs.
What should I get first? Remember, this is SOLELY for macrophotography.
Any suggestions are welcome.
