Aug 18, 2017 17:33 | #4 I think the 5d Mark IV closed the gap quite a bit. Better dynamic range than previous Canon cameras, although still not quite up to Nikon/Sony, and the resolution isn't too far behind - 30 megapixels for the 5D versus 36 for the D810. It's that dynamic range thing where Canon has been lagging behind.

I agree that the D850 has the potential of significantly raising the bar, but we need to see som production versions before crowning it king camera. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
