I can't get my 5D3 to go above ISO 6400.
I've been into settings and selected Min 100 max 25600, pressed select and then exited using the menu button.

When I then try to up my Iso it will not go past 6400.

If I then return to ISO settings it has 6400 highlighted.

Any thoughts please.
Thanks
Simon.

Just to be sure: when you change your high ISO setting, you then have to roll the dial to select "Save" as well as hit SET. If you just exit, it won't save the setting.

Are you using Auto ISO and perhaps have a limit set? See http://www.learn.usa.canon.com …es/2012/eos_AutoISO.shtml (external link) on how to make changes.

No John, this is in manual, when I look at back screen at the ISO settings when using the quick settings in the top screen, all settings above 6400 are greyed out.

All sorted, who is a silly Billy? ............ ME!!! I had not set the range to 25,600, just the Auto ISO range.

I'm off to work on phone camera skills now, probably safer!

Thanks for your input!
Simon.
