I see alot of posts on the 16-35 f4.. and not the 16-35mm 2.8 any particular reason? Thanks! Take care.
Image quality is much better on the F4 lens, not to mention IS is extremely useful for handheld long-ish exposures. Also, there is the argument that f/2.8 isn't often used at wide angles because you are typically wanting a large DOF to keep the foreground and background sharp. Still, when I was looking to buy a 16-35, it was the image quality that made me eliminate the f/2.8 lens.
