Is it still worth buying Nikon D90?

As it mention in the title, is it still worth it?

I got an offer for the D90, with 2 lenses, Nikor 50mm 1.8/Tamron 18-200, with nikon camera bag plus battery charger.

All of it for $450.

Is it a no or a go?

No...you can get a D7000 for about $250. A Nikon AFS 50g f1.8 is about $140 used.

In answer to the question No. it's old technology you can get better.

Its not a bad camera if you have a small budget or find one real cheap, I had one and it was not bad combined with a 55-300Vr lens it took some quite good photos.

The D90 is a fine camera. I ran one for a while. What do you shoot? The biggest issue I had was it doesn't have AF fine tune. If your using a kit lens for snap shots of family or maybe some landscapes, I wouldn't hesitate to get a D90 if I found a good price. If you're into using fast lenses wide-open, I would look for a body that had the fine-tune feature; although, I think you might be able to send gear to Nikon for adjustments. My main gig is portraits and events where I'm shooting at F2.8, F2 or even wider all the time. Without AF fine-tune, I would get a lot of "soft" eyes in my pics. That doesn't fly for paid gigs.

I decided not to get one, mostly for the AF.

I was planning on using it as a starter to my underwater photography. But I will get something a bit more high-end. Especially when I am putting almost $1600 for a housing haha.

I would go for a D7100 or D7200 used or refurb, much better AF/sensor tech.
