Yellow spider

I didn't see it at first when shooting flowers in my yard today. Any idea what kind it is?

First shot is with the Laowa 15mm macro and the 2nd with the Sony FE 90G.

Thanks very much. Apparently, these spiders can change color to match the flower they wait for their prey on.

I tried to use a tripod this morning on that crab spider. Below is the result and a behind the scene look at my setup. I have a difficult time focusing hand held, even with image stabilization.

I find it amazing that the spider blends in so well.

Its color is a better match for the flowers than yesterday, if the lighting in your two photos is similar. The color change takes a while. If this spider went to a white flower, the yellow would fade.

The only difference in lighting was the time of day. Late afternoon yesterday vs early morning today. I did use a flash both days.
