I've saved some images made in photoshop as both psd & jpeg files in a file and I'm trying to synchronize that file in lightroom so I can work on them in LR. When I try to sync the folder, I just get a blue spinning disc and it never syncs. If I click anywhere on the screen while the blue disc is spinning, lightroom shuts down. I've rebooted my computer and it doesn't change. Windows 10 user.

Anyone have this experience & know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks.

Maybe a permissions issue on the folder?

Have you tried importing them?

Perhaps when you tried Sync the first time, LR had marked the folder contents as 'Busy' while it was syncing, but the 'busy' status was never cleared when the sync got inadvertantly interrupted.

And it might not be the Windows data folder full of .CR2 files themselves, but maybe a flag within the mini-SQL database that LR uses to keep track of the images imported into the LR database. I can't suggest how to clear either, but maybe someone else can suggest things to try.
