Normally, starting in mid-August, I am visited by large mixed flocks of warblers and other passerines migrating through our property. This year, for whatever reason, they have largely failed me. Others, east and west of me, have been seeing them, but I have been overall skunked. I did manage a couple shots over the last several days of two nifty species, but that's been about it. Here are a Blackburnian Warbler and a Northern Waterthrush.
