Anyone know why Adorama is listing the 7D Mark II at full MSRP ($1799.00) and as a closeout? Is this a mistake or am I just looking at something wrong?

I see the Canon store does not list a sale price any longer, so I would have to say COME ON 7D MkIII!!! :)

Could be a typo. Body only with WiFi is shown at $1549 or $300 off at https://www.adorama.com/ica7dm2w.html (external link).

Yeah I saw that and was thinking the same. The closeout tag is what really got me wondering. Sent an inquiry to Adorama, hopefully they will respond later today.

Even better, refurbished from Canon on their Labor Day sale for $1200. See https://shop.usa.canon.com …-mark-ii-body-refurbished (external link)

Wifi kit is only worth 30-40 so it adds little to the package.

It's on special offer but not on closeout. Looks like someone pressed the wrong button! But it's now corrected.

Both B&H and Amazon still have it at the lower price. I've heard nothing from Adorama.

Yeah, but it still doesn't make sense. Not that it realty matters to me, but now the body alone is $1799.99 marked as closeout. Body with Wi-Fi adapter is $1549.00 marked as a special. Sounds like the body only and 18-135mm STM kits (both marked closeout) will no longer be available from Adorama, but all other combinations will be. If other retailers were doing the same it would make you think Canon was getting ready to make an announcement, but they are not. Anyway, doesn't really matter I guess.
