I have an a6000 and love it. It has become my go to camera and I have a good set of glass for it. I got into more video now and thought about going with the a6500 but don't like the price tag.

Just asking because it's still a very capable camera, and depending on your needs you might want to consider sticking with it and just investing in better glass/accessories.

Dec 18, 2017 20:47 | #4 So I ended up picking up a A6300 while they were on sale.. Sorry the initial post was kind of off. I have a good amount of glass for my a6000 Now a6300.. I am keeping the A6000 as I love the image quality and as a spare. I wanted a step up in video and the mic in and the weather sealing what the deciding factor for me. I also loved that the A6300 has live view video through the app so you don't need an expensive monitor. This again was all about stepping into better video and not about photos. I feel that the A6300 is a huge step up for that. God created the beauty. My camera and I are a witness..

Im also a a6000 owner and looking to switch this reason, since I use a lot of 1980' canon lenses which are all manual and can totally benefit from body image stabilization In my bag..Canon 7D, 10mm, Sigma 18-250mm,40mm 2/8,18-55mm IS, Fotodoix MacroTube Extension,Wireless Remote, External Flash, CPL, UV, Neutral Density Filters...CS6, Lightroom 5, SNS-HDR Pro, Topaz Labs, NIK Software
