Glad you like it. I'm pretty sure it's a Blue-winged Teal. See the blue stripe on the wing? It's also too small to be a Mallard.

I'm with the rest of the guys here. That's a mallard hen. Unfortunately, they have blue stripes too. A blue winged teal will have a gray beak.

A little more research makes me think my original ID is indeed wrong. It is a Mallard hen. I guess my first ID (a few months ago) was based on faulty information - or just wrong. Sorry. :oops:
