Sep 09, 2017 07:04 | #8 You could look at solar panels with USB and use with USB charger for LP-E6. I don't have experience with them but all are commonly available and seems doable. With this setup you also have charging available for other USB devices.

I haven't yet tried that, and won't be able to tomorrow as Irma's remnants make their way into the midwest. On a full sunny afternoon day, this particular pack runs 16w at 3.2amp.
