The total depth of the mine is 327 meter. The length of the mine galleries is 300 kilometer. It is the oldest saltmine of the world. We were at a depth of 135 meter. The length of our walk was 3.5 kilometer. There are diiferent rooms, there is a lake and there are stables for horses, they used horses for working in the mines. And there are chapels and a statue of the pope.
