I like the 2nd photo you have of the drawing of the mine. How deep are tourist allowed to go? Can you go all the way to the bottom of the mine? Do you remember what the depth of the mine is? Charles

The total depth of the mine is 327 meter. The length of the mine galleries is 300 kilometer. It is the oldest saltmine of the world. We were at a depth of 135 meter. The length of our walk was 3.5 kilometer. There are diiferent rooms, there is a lake and there are stables for horses, they used horses for working in the mines. And there are chapels and a statue of the pope.
