My son's TG850 has developed the black screen that is commonplace from what I read on the internet; the camera still takes photos as proven by hearing a "click" on pressing the shutter button and then reading the memory card in a computer, but with a black screen there is no real control of the camera.
Is it worth repairing (likely how much in the UK?) or do I take it for electronic recycling and pass on three healthy and genuine Olympus LI-50B batteries and an aftermarket charger to a new owner?
Cheers!
