Nice shot, but I have to ask. What is he eating, I seem to remember seeing these as a kid but never knew what they where.

Thanks... Lol!

I'm not sure what the technical name is, but we call them "horse apples".

We used to call them Osage oranges. They are strange fruit that grow on small trees.

I doubt a horse would like them. The prefix 'horse' is often used to mean 'false', as in horse chestnut and horse radish.

I'm finding the learning curve most frustrating. Sure wish there was a manual to refer to. This may take a wihile to learn.

I don't have the RX10 IV but do have the RX100, a 1" sensor sister camera, and found it very hard to learn.

I have had the RX100s since the first one, up to V, and found them very easy to use, especially when you work out the Fn button and how you can set simple shortcuts to the main elements you may be changing. Getting

The are two ebooks you can get - Sony RX-10 IV Book by Gary L. Friedman and Photographer's Guide to the Sony DSC-RX10 IV by Alexander S. White. Both are good books, but I found Gary Friedman's book better for me. :)

RX10 night rig. Much lighter than (any body) and Canon 100-400 II which is what I normally use.
Pleased to find the Godox X1 works well. Attach to hotshoe and attach Godox VING860 flash (for Canon) to the hotshoe on the X1, turn the X1 on and flash works. ie the X1 acts like a Sony to Canon converter. Set the VING860 to Slave and place anywhere you want and have a remote flash. Anywhere that is, except for where I placed it on my night rig. Does not work! I had to hold the flash.
I'll reconfigure the rig with the flash in a position that it does work. I should have shot RAW for easier white balance adjustment.
The RX10 does not focus as well in almost dark compared to my Canon DSLR bodies but manageable, the weight saving is huge.

Thanks for the information, they are some strange looking fruits. ;-)a

First read was "selling your 7Dmk2". I'm good with both for now.
