And you have GHOs!!!!!
Outstanding capture.
I'm def. living in the wrong place.

This is only the second time I have ever seen one this close in broad daylight, the first being just a few weeks ago. I'm not complaining!

I'm going through un-posted photos from last year so I can archive that library and clear up some room on my hard drive for the upcoming season.

Has anyone else ever had this happen?

I had just taken a short burst (approx. 5 shots) and this message came up on the screen. I selected [Enter] to proceed and all seemed ok. When I imported the images from my card into LR, I got an import error that two (2) files were corrupt and skipped.

I ALWAYS reformat my cards (in camera) after downloading images. The card is less than a month old and it's seemed to be fine otherwise...???...

Once for me too. Happened a few days ago. I can't remember the details. Fairly new card. I never reformat.

I'll be looking at this Powerful owl in a few hours. His chick (or one of them) was perched on the lip of it's hollow on Thursday. Had to work over the weekend so I have not got to check on whether it has fledged yet.

And a Kookaburra. The type of bird that killed the chick last year at the same stage. This one is hanging about near another Powerful owl chick due to fledge any day.

Excellent shot, lennycarl...really nicely done. Some people are going to think he bugling, and and others will way he's just yawning. I'm going with bugling. :p

Robert I just got a Fujifilm X-T20 and four fantastic lenses for my daughters wedding this summer. Love using the film simulation modes. It makes B&W photography easy. No conversion needed.

Still love the Sony RX104. Must have it with me at Alligator Farm at all times.

Take care.

Took my youngest grandgirls to ride the train yesterday. It's a round trip with a stop at a destination depot. With arrival at the depot the steam locomotive is unhooked, filled with water then comes around to the back of the cars to pull it back to the starting depot. Me and another passenger somehow got lucky enough to ride in the locomotive while it was brought around to the back side of the cars for the return trip. Standing three feet from the firebox makes for a hot time.

Big wheels keep on turnin'...
