This is about the 360 models sold as Godox, Flashpoint, etc., that have the external Lithium battery packs. Before I remove the straps, I thought I'd ask how many user have or have not removed their straps. I just ordered a 2 more brackets so I can hang the packs on all my stands using clips on the pack. I find the straps clutter the bag where I keep two 360s and two speedlites. But thought I'd ask anyway. So ...

1. Did you remove your 360 battery pack straps or leave them on?

2. Do you use the brackets for the clips?

3. Do you ever wear the pack, or just use them with light stands?

4. Any other feedback about fastening the packs you find worth knowing?

Also, do others cut off the small caps and straps? I bought the double ended adapter for the power cable on both of my battery packs and foresee using them indefinitely. Used that way, the dangling caps seem like extra clutter that can be cut-away.

Yes, used Falcon Eyes bracket, lightstand, nope.

I take off my y-cable and put the caps on before putting the battery pack in the bag.

I kept the staps on since they don't really get in the way. However I use spring clamps to hold them to my light stands. Works like a champ.

I had forgotten that they even came with straps.

Pretty sure the Cheetah Stand ones were not "installed" when they arrived.

I use an A clamp through the metal hook and clamp the whole thing to the light stand.

I know the thread's a few years old, but... I use key rings - 1 tiny one through the strap connection, with a larger one attached to the tiny one. This is easy to hang off the set screws of a lightstand.
