Not just the southwest but pretty much all of the western states have some great ghost towns. Remember what the DorMouse said.....feed your head.

Look up: Old Sheldon Church Ruins, Beaufort County, South Carolina Windsor Ruins, Port Gibson, Mississippi Bulow Plantation Ruins, Flagler Beach, Florida I've been to none of these, so I can't say if they are worth your time. hopefully people will post more than them you listed. thanks!
