Nice article and excellent images! IMHO you have surpassed your mentors 8-)

One of the things that you touched on that I always tell people: Learn about the habits and quirks of the subjects that you want to shoot. It makes all the difference in getting the images that you want. I'm really impressed with the photos since I often find it difficult to get a single frame of an active jumping spider, and you're focus stacking. How many frames do you typically take?

Thank you John, sorry for the late reply, I'm usually stacking between 4 to 15 shots, I use the camera in burst mode with a godox battery pack assisting the MT24

fine collection; you'd soon get bored of the ones in the UK, none are remotely as colourful.
