So, why is it for sale? Well, I've switched to Sony. I sold my 5Ds and 5D Mark IV and all my lighting and lenses except I have two lenses left which I've been adapting; this and the 35L II. So, why not continue adapting them? Well, I want native lenses. They're smaller, lighter, and the AF is better. I picked up the Zeiss Batis 135mm lens to replace the 135L (I even used it to take pictures of this lens, for this ad - how's that for a slap in the face... errr... front element?).
This copy is in GREAT condition. Looking it over, I can't find any obvious signs of use - a testament to both how I cared for the lens (it was my baby and was always packed carefully and used with the lens hood on) as well as just how tough this lens is! The glass appears perfect externally and internally, and the body of the lens is flawless as far as I can tell. Even the mount looks new. The front lens cap and lens hood show signs of use, but does that actually matter? They're both operationally perfect. Additionally, you'll receive the original box and lens pouch as well as all the stuff inside the box that came with the lens - I even have the foam inserts to keep the lens from bouncing around during shipping.
The price you see is the price you pay. No adding anything for shipping, insurance on the shipment, or PayPal fees. It's all included. No need for a calculator Speaking of shipping, I ship via USPS with their Priority Mail service which generally puts whatever I'm shipping to you in 2 days. Because the lens will be insured, you'll need to sign for it. If you're not home to sign for it, they'll hold it at your local Post Office for pickup.
I've advertised a fair amount of equipment here and on FredMiranda (feel free to check feedback) and then sold it locally, in-person, to forum users (done the same as a buyer, too). If you're interested in buying this lens and you're within 50-100 miles of Sarasota, FL, there's a good chance we can meet up! I travel for work from Port Charlotte up to Brandon, and over to Winter Haven, even going down into Sebring so depending on the day, I could deliver to somewhere near you.
