It says under the description "Price after mail in rebate 1 x $449.00". $100 off of that is $349.00, right? Am I missing something here? R5 / EOS R / 24-70 2.8L MK II / 70-200 2.8L IS MK II / Sigma 50 1.4 Art / 430 EX II / YN 568 EX II / YN-622C / YN 622C-TX

The price you see $699 (full price) minus the $250 mail in rebate, will give you the cost of $449. However with the PRO10 promo code, it cut that down even further. http://www.flickr.com/photos/pyrospawn/

Oct 04, 2017 18:43 | #8 Yeah...I'd probably call to confirm that final price...both BH and Adorama list the printer at $699.00 and say it's $449.00 AFTER the mail in rebate... If you are correct it's a great deal... Image hosted by forum (879308) © awilson18 [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. Oct 04, 2017 20:05 | #9 How does this printer compare to the Pro-100? I believe that this is a pigment printer while the Pro-100 is a dye printer. (something like that...) Are the prints better? Is the ink cheaper? Is the printer more reliable? Thanks!

Colors look about the same to me. The PRO-10 is indeed pigment ink. The inks are comparable in price. Reliability is probably the same. I have the PRO-10 and love it. It makes wonderful prints. I just wish it went larger. Getting better at this - Fuji X-t5 & X-t3 - 16 1.4 - 35/50/90 f2 - 50-140 - flickr

Not rocket science here. If I had the cash I would get a second one as it is better than my Pro-100 and ink refills are insanely easy. (watch Youtube videos) The Pro-100 colors are slightly more vivid depending on photo but the Pro-10 is worth the upgrade. (I have both and only print to the Pro-10 any more)

Precision says they are coming out with refills for the Pro-1000 which will make it a great deal for volume printing. I can't afford $60 a pop on ink tanks for personal use, but $15 or less for a refill and I'm all in. Wish Canon would somehow do a firmware upgrade for long sheets.

Bilderknipser Senior Member More info | Thanks for posting this great deal! I’m debating whether to take advantage of it or not. I have an Epson 1400 that I’ve been really happy with, but it’s currently got what I assume is a clogged nozzle and I haven’t been able to get it unclogged. I feel wasteful just buying a replacement, but it looks like this would be an upgrade anyway.. my epson only has one black color and the price of ink is about $120 for a full set. :/ anyone have any input on this particular situation? Carmen
