Old Warships

Two RN warships both from the WW2 era with very different histories. The Carrier Leviathan launched in 1945 as the war ended. As a result construction was halted and never restarted. She lingered for over 20 years before finally in 1968 ending her days in a Scottish scrapyard.
By comparison HMS Warspite arguably the RN's greatest battlesip, serving with distinction in both wars and if a RN Battleship had been preserved most would say tis would have been the choice.
