Challenge #659 -- Triangle/s , 3 sided shapes, natural ,man made ,both .As long as it has 3 sides and can be seen --have a good look round :)

---------------
I have to say that Sat/Sunday whether anyone would take part BUT now i have 4 excellent photos to judge - quality over quantity.

1 st place for me TEEKAY - Umbrella .That is such a photo full of triangles -- would make an excellent competition, count the triangles .There are more than you think when you first look.

2nd Place M Six That wall stands out and once again if you look carefully there are a few more triangles

3rd place Jim Askew with the intricate pendant --what's the history of this it's a wonderful looking peace of work.

Last but not least Maureens Aloe Vera.We have them here but they don't normally bloom,we just have the sharp green leaves.

Thank you for taking part and take it away Teekay :)

Thanks, Trumper! I nearly didn't enter this week as time went by with no entries and I surely didn't want to win by default but hated to see the week go by with no entries at all. Was very relieved to see everybody else's entries and was sure one of them would win over my simple umbrella shot.

Will try and get a new challenge up today.

Congratulations to Teekay and M_Six and thanks for the 3rd place nod, Trumper. This was a good and tough challenge. I carried my G5X around all week looking for a suitable entry.

My shot is a pendant I found in an antique shop in Marietta, GA a couple of years ago. It is early 1900s vintage made with 14K gold. The center stone is a dark green tanzanite I believe. I paired it with an antique gold chain I scored from another antique shopping hunt and the wife loves it. When she wore it Sunday to our brunch outing I knew I had an entry :-)

Congrats to teekay & runners up. I just got back from Hawaii on Thursday and had the grandkids 4 hours after getting home. Last night I suddenly remembered the challenge was due so I made a scramble around my house & yard..... The Aloe vera plant was all I could find along with some other plants. C'est la vie.
