How do you create ColorMunki Profiles using Print Plug In for Photoshop on Wide Format Printers?

I create Custom Profiles using the ColorMunki which I use with an IPF-6400. I find that I get constantly better print results if I DON'T use the Print Plug In for Photoshop, rather, if I print directly using the Print function.

I think this stems from printing the Test Charts. The ColorMunki instructions specifically state to use the exact same printing parameters as you would when printing an actual print. The problem is, that ColorMunki does not print the Test Charts through the Plug In, rather is uses the Print dialog. Using the Print dialog, I try to select parameters that are as close as I can get to those in the Plug In, but I expect the driver is different, and the results are different.

End result, prints printed with the Plug In are not as true as those using the Print dialog.

Does anyone know how to force ColorMunki to print the Test Charts through the Print Plug in for Photoshop?

Rad
