B&H has a Deal Zone Deal of the Day (see https://www.bhphotovideo.com/find/dealZone.jsp (external link)) but I recently found they have a "flashback" area of deals that run beyond a day. Go to https://www.bhphotovideo.com …ems/ci/34122/N/3583558435 (external link) and select what you are after along the top row where it says "Select DealZone Hits By Category." A typical offering is the Samyang 14mm Ultra Wide-Angle f/2.8 IF ED UMC Lens for Canon EF Mount at $299 normally $339.

So I have a question about the Vivitar 1.4 teleconverter that is for sale on that list. The canon 1.4 is not compatible with the 70-300L. Is the Vivitar compatible?

You don't have any gear listed in your profile but on the Vivitar 1.4 TC, near the bottom of the description, it states

For Canon cameras and lenses with an EF mount--not compatible with EF-S lenses

In the reviews (see "works as expected") someone mentions using it with the 70-300 IS II. I suggest you read the reviews. My "suspicion" is it will work with the 70-300L mounted to a full frame "EF" body but I can't say positively. Also. be aware of the light limitations of any 1.4 TC with any lens.

Picking up one of these modifiers to use as a hair light, fill light or when I want to do "short side lighting". Perfect modifier for my Ad200 and it comes with a 40 deg. grid.
