This is what I did in the end - but the main LR5 and LR6 website was all about CC - the stand alone version was not exactly prominently displayed. You really needed to exactly know what you wanted in order to find it. Best example of nudging customers into the 'correct' purchase - see also the literature of Richard H. Thaler, who got the 2017 nobel prize for economy. You might find that utter rubbish as well though.

Well Adobe are a business. And just like any other business they are going to promote and encourage customers to buy their latest products.
Even people at home push old stuff to the back of the drawer and put the new stuff at the front.
It’s common sense.
Well that’s my theory anyway.
