5D Shutter Count

I know this question has been brought up before. But has there been a way to successfully find the shutter count besides shipping it to Canon?

I thought that the tool at AstroJargon worked for the 5D but it's been a loooooong time since I used it. Gotta ask though, with the camera as old as it is, does it matter any more?

Im looking to sell the camera. I believe I am withing a certain range with the camera, but Id like to be more accurate if at all possible. I know apps and websites are always getting better with the years passing, but the 5D seems to elude it.

If it's any consolation, shutter-count apps don't work on the 80D, either.
