I know this question has been brought up before. But has there been a way to successfully find the shutter count besides shipping it to Canon?

I thought that the tool at AstroJargon (external link) worked for the 5D but it's been a loooooong time since I used it. Gotta ask though, with the camera as old as it is, does it matter any more?


Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Im looking to sell the camera. I believe I am withing a certain range with the camera, but Id like to be more accurate if at all possible. I know apps and websites are always getting better with the years passing, but the 5D seems to elude it.
