This kind. Trying to find the groove coming from Canon to Sony. More noise than I expected or like I have to say. Haven't been shooting a week with the 100-400 yet so still playing with settings.

Am I missing something? These were shot in RAW and cropped, lightly processed. Is this type of noise normal for ISO 250? I appreciate any input on this since I'm not real happy about it if so. I was told, 42 mp is going to show noise more.

That doesn’t look right at all, that’s more like iso 50,000+

The noise seems to be around the leaves. The bird and leaves seem to be clean. Did you lift the shadows at all?

Here are the same with crop only. I'm trying to get an understanding of if this is normal and what I will dealing with at higher ISOs and if the shots I see at higher ISO have had alot of noise reduction work done on them. Coming from Canon so most definitely still learning.

2.4kb looks like an error with the way win 10 viewer is reading the info. It’s showing as 240 iso on the forum. With regards to noise that is definitely not looking correct. This camera has amazing noise control, your image looks like an ultra high iso shot. Something is not right
