Canon EOS M-5 focus question

For doing photos of still subjects (one shot A-F) am I correct in that there are only 3 options? (single,area, and face detect). Is there not a way to control the size of the single focus point?

You are correct, yes. The single point is just that, why would you want to make it bigger?

Having just looked at the menu options there is an AF Frame size option which lets you select the smallest size af frame and this then locks out the option to use AI Servo focusing. For this you must use the normal size af frame or one of the multi point options.
