Since this place is so locked down I can't ask this in the proper forum. Before anyone starts in on me, I understand the rules and get it. Looking for a old Canon F1 motor drive or an F1 Battery Drive. I f anyone has one please let me know. twilli53@gmail.com.
Thank Tim Williams

You might put this post into the "want to buy" section at https://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=170.

A quick search indicates some drives are available on eBay. I would also look over the list of gear that KEH has to offer. Seems there are several drives, I just don't know the F1 that well to know what would work. See https://www.keh.com …search/result/?q=Canon+f1 (external link).

The first and second versions of the F-1 uses motor drives MF or MD. The drives I could see on the KEH link above are for the new F-1, which has a completely different set of motors and winders.

Not knowing the F1 that well, I'm not sure what you are seeking.

A bit pricy, but is https://www.ebay.com …583048:g:EIcAAOSw9EZZkGjd (external link) what you are seeking?

A whole kit (less pricy) also might include what you need. See https://www.ebay.com …2ef634:g:4RQAAOSwUn9aFKgO (external link).

That's the bulky MD drive. The MF is much more covenient, but may be difficult to find.

Just for future reference the OP didn't post there because he's only got 12 posts and the WTB section requires members to have over 100 posts and 6 months of forum activity. These rules are to prevent scammers from using the WTB forum for nefarious purposes and are to protect the forum's members. I think it's pretty obvious the OP isn't looking to rip someone off with a scam looking for a motor but that's the reason he didn't post in the appropriate forum.
