When shooting wide open with a RX100 V are you able to achieve background blur? Are there any techniques that can be used to achieve more of a blur?

Thanks.

The RX100 has a small sensor compared to full-frame and APS-C, so you're never going to get as much blur as you can with a fast lens on one of those cameras.
That said you can achieve some background blur. Get close to your subject and get the subject as far from the background as you can.
