35mm for portraits?

Most of my indoor family shots are with the 10-22 or the 35 f/2 ... on a crop camera ... so for you that means 16-35 and a 50.

I really like the wide angle "get the whole room in the frame" type of shots. It adds context and helps preserve the memory of the moment. Like mailing out Christmas Cards assembly line style :)
