Peak Design just launched their 7th Kickstarter campaign.

The Capture V3 is smoother, smaller, thinner and lighter. It comes in black and silver. There's also a new updated ProPad.

The Slide and Slide Lite, are slightly redesigned with smoother webbing, better padding. It's available in black and ash.

There's a lot more info and pictures at http://www.1kindphotography.com …lip-slide-lite-strap.html (external link)

I still have my original capture clip. Has served me well on quite a few backpacking and kayaking trips (yep actually use it on my life vest on the water!) as well as just normal city life.

When the v2 came out I thought about getting one but I the end the redesign wasn't that big to me. This v3 though looks very nice. Might have to finally replace my original clip!!

It is worth noting the following for the new plate if you are going to retain your legacy Capture Models:

  • Capture Clip is backwards compatible with all Peak Design plates
  • Standard Plate is not backwards compatible with older Capture models

Cheers

I was hoping they were going to do a better re-design of the slide. I like it better than the rapid because it holds the camera very still as you walk. But its annoying as heck that its always moving up your shoulder and onto your neck unless you wear a shirt with a collar.

The grip on the new 2017 Slide is actually a lot more grippier.
