I have following setup :
Tokina 17 f3.5 AT-X Pro
Sigma 50 1.4 Art
Sigma 85 1.4 Art
Canon 135 f2L
Canon 24-70 2.8L MKI
Canon 70-200 2.8L II
In the past I had the 35 Art but sold it for the 24-70 2.8L I (as I bought the 50 Art later).
Mostly I do modelshoots and some abandoned locations with my wide-angle, +- twice a year unpaid miss events (in the end you can go on stage to take pics of the winners) or a fashionshow.
I have the opportunity to sell my 24-70 2.8L, would I go back to the 35 Art ?
The zoomrange of the 24-70 isn't that big (with 35mm 1 foot back and 2 steps forward for 70mm).
Then my setup would look like :
17 f3.5 AT-X Pro
35 Art
50 Art
85 Art
Canon 135 f2L
Canon 70-200 2.8L II
Anyone has the 35/50/85 Art series together, or does this seem too much of a hassle, so many primes?
I bought the 85 Art the last one as it's the newest, that's why I would have 3 Art's now.
Most common is 35/85 combo, maybe I should sell my 50 Art then.
I know it's a difficult discussion each time 35 Art vs 24-70 2.8 MKI, but the older glass of the 24-70 2.8 I is still good for a Canon 6D or future higher megapix cams ?
The 35 Art has probably newer glass better for future cams.
