Any suggestions on budiour style photos with a larger (think 2x) women? My sister is begging me to take some nice photos for her husbands gift. Shes a larger lady and I would like some tips on how to make these photos perfect.

First step I do is hit up google images, print samples to have on hand. When posing stretch the model out. If she has areas she does not like, hide it with wardrobe or props.

Side note .... not sure I could shoot my sister in a boudoir setting (I actually dont have a sister) I get it work is work ... but still.

maybe babyb is female. :D

quick google of "posing youtube creative live" also look for Sue Bryce

it is a good resource for posing and there are other videos if you add "full figure". Pay attention to what this woman says about how shadows can slim the body. Might also google "short lighting portrait" for more info. Use the longest lens you can.

babyb, have you checked out the curvy/plus-size thread in Glamour & Nude? Many examples of poses there.

Love this thread.... as a older mature adult female on the plump side... I have enjoyed over the years posing semi nude for fun for my husband at the time... (Not Married Presently) Using props to cover my unflattering parts has been the go to for me... Reclining and stretching out and pointing your toes is another way of slenderizing your self.... Then again, if you don't mind showing your curves off... then go for it... It's what ever you feel comfortable doing... I have photos of myself that show exactly what I mean... Good Luck...

I'm a weekend amatuer photographer that loves taking all types of photos. I enjoy landscapes, and portraits, wildlife and cityscapes! I also use myself as a model and transform my semi nude or nude photos into erotica using all types of photoshop type techniques.
