I have a 1DX for sale $3700 CDN approx $2900 US. The unit is in excellent condition with no marks of any kind. Shutter count is 19074 from a EOS utility. The screen shows <20000 release cycles. The hand strap is not included. Battery and charger is included. Shipping/Insurance to Canada and US extra. US customers to pay duty on import. I have the original box etc. Will accept Paypal or E-Transfer. I have sold lenses on this forum before.

I've purchased at least 3 items from private Canadian sellers. All were shipped Canada Post. I paid no duties/import taxes on any of them. Each was honestly and completely described on the Customs label.

Tom,

It depends on the sale price. As far as I know somewhere north of 1 Grand, will be taxed.

Thanks. Good information. I think the most expensive lens I bought from a Canadian seller was about $450 USD.

EDIT:
I found this: https://www.cbp.gov …export/internet-purchases (external link)
Short story: Properly value and declare all cross-border gear on the Customs Form. If the item is for PRIVATE USE, no duty will be assessed.
Caveat: Customs and Border Patrol decides what qualifies for PRIVATE USE.
