If you're in Austria, you should definitely visit Graz. It’s a city with several universities, which means lots of young, joyful people on the streets at all times. Even the famous scientist Nikola Tesla studied there in 19th century.
We were there last spring. Town architecture is amazing. It's an eclectic mix of old and new ranging from Gothic to Contemporary, and a very successful one.
People are generally friendly.
I got a taxi from graz airport
and went to explore this city. I was very suprised that such a small city as Graz has so many attractions, sucha as: museums, galleries, mostly I liked Kunsthaus a gallery of modern art and the beauthiful castle Schlossenberg and the artificial island on the river Mura.
